In mid-2022, Orolia was acquired by Safran; an international high-tech group headquartered in France, operating in the aviation (propulsion, equipment, and interiors), defense and space markets. Safran has a global presence, with 76,800 employees and sales of 15.3 billion euros in 2021 including more than 10,000 employees in the United States.
