What you’ll be doing as a Manufacturing Technician with Orolia Defense & Security:

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for assembly of small or medium sized parts, fitting and/or adjustment of interrelated parts, repair of sub assemblies and major assemblies. This may involve mechanical, optical and electrical/electronic operations. A Manufacturing Technician uses of wide range of hand and power tools, electrical or mechanical fixtures and gauges, standard measuring devices such as dial indicators, micrometers or voltmeters, drills, jigs, fixtures, and light materials. You will be responsible for inspection and testing of your own work and work of others.

 

Responsibilities include:

Assembly of our products using Electronic Process Details

Assembly of sub assemblies including cables, mechanical assemblies, surface mounts, printed circuit boards, etc

Testing as required by process detail

Mechanical assembly of subs and final unit

Solder, de-solder, rework assemblies

Responsible for self-inspection of assemblies

Responsible for supporting Product Development and Production Engineering during prototype stage and other rework

Make suggestions for updates to process details utilizing Engineering Change Numbers (ECN)

Follow all Company ESD procedures and policies
Ability to work individually and in a team environment

Meet customer deadlines

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities We’re Looking For:

Ability to solder/de-solder/rework assemblies/SMT experience

IPC-610 & JStandard 001

Ability to read and follow directions with heavy attention to detail.
Able to use ERP system to complete tasks as required

Able to read color coded Process Details

Ability to utilize Microsoft Programs

Ability to have fun and work with an amazing team!

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Minimum 5 years electronics assembly experience or equivalent
Minimum 5 years soldering experience with printed circuit boards
